We're exploring HD107S as an optional upgrade for faster, smoother animations. Its clocked protocol and manufacturer-rated high PWM refresh make it a promising candidate.

WS2815 stays our current baseline. Your existing design and purchased parts stay in place.

Specs and qualification notes

Manufacturer-rated 27 kHz PWM is LED modulation frequency. Actual Roadveil output FPS is not yet measured on this candidate.

The 5V automotive power system, injection, harness, driver compatibility and physical testing need qualification. Existing WS2815 hardware is not automatically changed.
